Differentiating Psychic and Mediumship Abilities Using Quantitative EEG (qEEG)

This proof-of-concept study tests whether quantitative EEG (qEEG) can distinguish evidential mediumship from psychic readings and telepathy states in rigorously vetted practitioners. Ten Forever Family Foundation (FFF)–certified mediums will complete:

(a) one audio-only, identity-masked mediumship reading for an unidentified trained sitter over Zoom,

(b) matched psychic (non-spirit) reading evaluated for accuracy, and

(c) telepathy tasks conducted remotely via Zoom.

Continuous 19‑channel EEG will be recorded across tasks. Analyses will test whether multivariate EEG patterns differentiate task types and relate to performance. Participants will also complete a short set of validated surveys and brief self-reports after each task to clarify findings.
